Marie: I love the idea of telling the story of the wall of randomness. I want to hear this! Then it's simple to imagine images - from/of the wall - and a map somehow around where the items come from? something like that? Consider embedding the images and map right into the blog postings. Now, I think you should break up that first long post about memories - break it across several blog postings? You don't have to, but it is true that people tend not to want to read lengthy posts on the web. I think you could get a great deal out of just describing the wall. Stare at it and tell us what you see, what's there?
